Hello everyone! After nearly two and a half years, I'm back on deviantART. I'm not making any guarantees about how active I'll be or how long I'll be staying, but here I am.

Here's some stuff that's been going on in my life since I left at the end of 2016, in no particular order:

-I graduated from my homeschool (I've never gone to public school) and from my dance studio (where I'd danced for eight years), and am now in the last stages of my gap year
-I wrote a commissioned screenplay for a local film acting group for kids and teens, which will be filmed and premiered this summer
-I got an amazing scholarship from my top college, which I'll be attending in the fall
-I'm taking a Spanish class at my local community college (me gusta mucho el español, pero no lo hablo bien) (my apologies if I just butchered that sentence!)
-I've been through some really tough personal stuff that I'm not going to go into, but everything's fine now
-I got to learn a ballet duo with one of my friends at my dance studio and perform it at multiple competitions (we won second place at Tremaine, which is a SUPER competitive competition in NYC!)
-I haven't really drawn anything in quite awhile, but I've been writing a lot
-I realized I'm bisexual, after believing I was straight for most of my life (and yes, for everyone who thinks otherwise, bisexuality is totally a thing)
-I started watching Murdoch Mysteries with my parents, Legends of Tomorrow with my whole family, and Once Upon a Time by myself (no spoilers for any of those, please!)
-I've babysat a lot
-I got my permit last year and am still learning how to drive (I'm pretty good at it, but it's a work in progress)


That's all I can think of at the moment. I hope you've all been well! I'm looking forward to being part of this community again, and hopefully I'll share some more of my writing soon.

So. Here I am. Back from the depths of the Real World. I won't be staying long, though; I'm leaving deviantART. My account will remain accessible to the users of this site, in the hope that something that I've posted here will continue to be enjoyed by my watchers and friends.
I'm sad to see this go. I know I can always come back - that's another reason not to deactivate - and I haven't exactly been an active member of the deviantART community as of late... but I'm still going to miss you guys. In looking through my gallery and saving all of the pieces I've written, I've seen so many wonderful, beautiful comments that you all have left for me. That's another reason why I can't bring myself to deactivate my account; I couldn't bear to see all of those lovely, kind words go swooshing down the drain. 
This is goodbye. For awhile, at least. I'll still be around for another day or so, going through the rest of my gallery and deciding which of these journal entries are worth keeping. I will never regret joining deviantART. It's made me a better critic, a better writer, a better person. Thank you all so much for giving me a little pocket of the Internet where I can put all of my wild ideas. I'm going to miss you.

R-Wild-R and I have noticed that any comments left in the Notifications Center for more than a couple of days disappear. (For those of you whom I'm roleplaying with, that's why it's taken me so long to respond!) 
Are any of you guys having this problem, too?

Just a quick note to let you all know that I haven't been ignoring you. I was staying at my grandparents' house this weekend so I could go to a day of dance workshops nearby. (They live a lot closer to the workshop place than I do.) I probably won't have time to catch up on roleplays, comments, or anything else today, but please know that I will eventually!
